As we had a free morning before eparting Langkawi, we took the time to go to th beach before breakfast, but the water was very cold, so instead we headed back to the resorts pool, which was a lot more temperate.
After the swim and towelling off we went for breakfast and then Eunice booked a 45 minute traditional Malay massage at 11.30AM; leaving us a bit tight for time (check out time was midday). We went back to the chalet and began to pack, then Eunioce headed down for the magage and I continued packing, getting ready and organizing a shuttle bus at around 11.45AM.
I paid the outstanding amount on our bill and waited in the lobby until Eunice came back at about 12.20PM, we then sorted out a taxi ride to the airport and were soon jetting our way back to KL. The flight back took around 40 minutes, so we must have got a good tail wind behind us.
We were soon back at Lawrence and Babe's place, recounting stories of the short but pleasant adventure, and showed them a few photos of the days we were away.
Lawrence was keen to go out for a meal so we went to a place clled Victoria Station, which has a train themed type resturant; the food there was good - I had a Black Mushroom Steak, which was absoluteluy divine, Eunice had a seafood platter including lobster, which she enjoyed.
After dinner we went to a local shop, but there was not a lot to see, I think Babe was keen to go out to another shop, but the other three of us were tired, Lawrence is suffering from a Flu, and Eunice and I had had a couple of late nights and early morning over our recent holiday, so we headed home on this hot and humid night.
