This morning we had a free and easy morning, so took our time waking up and having breakfast at the hotel; soon after we had decided to go shopping for a few items. I was keen to go back to the Ferrari shop we had seen the day before and maybe pick up a watch or something special from there.
When we got there, there wasn't much special there, apart from some jackets which cost 200+ Euro, so went back to some other places we'd seen along the way. I picked up some jeans and italian shoes, and Eunice got a red purse, lipstick case and something else, all matching.
We went back to the hotel to drop off the goods we bought, then headed for our tour, which was to the city of Pisa. Our guide showed us around the Church, and pointed out this was where many of Gallelio's experiments were performed, as well as the leaning tower where he did some gravitational work. Here are some photos from the church and the square surrounding it.
The drive back to Florence took about an hour and a half, so Eunice and I relaxed.
When we arrived back, we headed back to the hotel for a short while, before heading out to the local returant for some food, although we didn't take the camera, it was a good meal.
